Dear Readers,

The Local Reporter has been receiving reports of disinformation being handed out at the polls in Chapel Hill and Carrboro. Other reports include harassment of voters and candidates at early voting polling sites.

We encourage undecided voters to read our Election 2023 section with questions and answers provided by the Chapel Hill and Carrboro candidates themselves. We also have posted endorsements provided by the mayoral candidates and updated by their campaign staff. This week, you can read op-eds from Chapel Hill candidates for Mayor – Jessica Anderson and Adam Searing.

Our goal is to bring you unbiased information to help you make an informed decision when you cast your ballot.
