The Carrboro Town Council will hold its final legislative session of 2022 tonight at 7 p.m. in Room 110 of Town Hall, located at 301 W. Main St. Most of its items appear in the Consent Agenda, including agreement updates for three greenway and pathway projects with the state’s Department of Transportation (NCDOT), which either need more time to meet project milestones or require additional funding. The council is also authorizing a three-year lease with Carr Mill Mall for office space.

The meeting will open with Mayor Damon Seils’ proclamation honoring Poet Laureate Fred Joiner. The council will also adopt its meeting calendar for 2023 and receive an implementation update on the Carrboro Connects Comprehensive Plan 2022-2042.
