CARRBORO RESULTS

Alora Honeycutt earned Carrboro’s lone individual victory, winning the women’s 3,200-meter run in 12 minutes, 2.80 seconds. Teammate Naomi Hirsch finished third in 12:40.29.

Two more third-place finishes came from Kiara Evans in the women’s long jump (13 feet) and Aylin McGowan in the women’s 500-meter run (1:30.29). McGowan also took sixth in the women’s 55-meter dash finals (8.03).

Other top results included:
• Flynn Pasquarelli, sixth in the women’s 500 (1:32.91)
• Lillian Lagarde, seventh in the women’s 1,600 (6:14.04)

For the Carrboro boys:
• Shane Fitzgerald placed third in the men’s 1,600 (4:46.15).
• Henry Lerner placed third in the men’s 500 (1:13.97).
• Carson Guerry finished fourth in the men’s 300-meter dash (39.47).

Additional top-10 finishes included:
• Max Sparrow, sixth in men’s long jump (18–1)
• Isaiah Shaw, seventh in men’s 1,000 (3:20.76)
• Eaden Wright, tenth in men’s 1,000 (3:37.76)
• Hanzo Valentin, tenth in men’s 1,600 (5:11.48)

EAST CHAPEL HILL RESULTS

East Chapel Hill picked up two event wins at its host event.

• Alex Reiter won the men’s 55-meter hurdles in 7.82 seconds. Reiter’s time established a new indoor track school record for the East Chapel Hill High men’s track and field program. 
• Gianluca Vavalle won the men’s 500-meter run in 1:09.6.

Reiter also finished fourth in the men’s 55-meter dash (6.85).

In field events, Jarien Boivin placed second in the men’s shot put with a throw of 41–3.5.

Other top ECHHS boys’ finishes included:
• Bruce Graddy, fourth in the men’s 500 (1:15.57)
• Cale Finkral, fourth in the men’s 3,200 (12:31.55)
• Robert Clipp, fourth in the men’s 1,600 (4:55.17)

The Wildcats placed four runners in the top nine of the men’s 1,000:
• Oscar Burgess, fifth (3:15.75)
• Leif Johnson, sixth (3:17.57)
• Patrick Lindner, eighth (3:22.17)
• Phillip Kirtley, ninth (3:26.19)

Other top-10 efforts:
• Christopher McEntee, eighth in men’s 1,600 (5:03.16)
• Leo George, ninth in men’s long jump (17–1)
• Jude Kelm, tenth in men’s 500 (1:16.89)

East Chapel Hill dominated the women’s 1,600, sweeping the top six places:

1. Ava Maughan — 5:21
2. Amelia Lockamy — 5:30.53
3. Katherine Hylton — 5:50.79
4. Camille Sinnott — 5:53.45
5. Norah Parnell — 5:57.98
6. Elorie Minter — 6:00.71

Parnell added a runner-up finish in the women’s 3,200 (12:32), while Minter placed fourth in that race (12:47.94).

Five Wildcats finished in the top 10 of the women’s 55-meter dash:
• Olivia Jooste, second (7.82)
• Elia Toledo, third (7.92)
• Tali Kirschner, seventh (8.28)
• Lucy Rieter, ninth (8.64)
• Ellen Argersinger, tenth (8.72)

Additional results:
• Laura Chekan, eighth in women’s 1,600 (6:21.73)
• Ivy Ellis, fourth in women’s 500 (1:31.35)
• Emma Chou, seventh in women’s 1,000 (4:14.14)
• Ivy Havrilesky, eighth in women’s 1,000 (4:18.81)

East Chapel Hill’s girls won their only relay of the meet, taking the 4×400 in 4:19.23 over Northern Durham.

CHAPEL HILL RESULTS

Chapel Hill sent fewer athletes than its cross-town rivals but still produced several strong results.

For the Tigers:
• Maxwell Singer placed third in the shot put (35–11.75) and fifth in the men’s long jump (18–6).
• Luke Brown placed fourth in the men’s 1,000 (3:10.65).

In the men’s 55-meter hurdles:
• Patrick Schilling placed third (8.88).
• Hoang Iinh Gaskin placed fifth (9.30).

More top-10 finishes:
• Calvin You, sixth in the men’s 55 (7.22)
• Nick Ya, ninth in the men’s 55 (7.40)
• Yichen Zhao, tenth in the men’s long jump (16–11)

In the women’s 1,000:
• Charlotte Hallquist won in 3:30.49.
• Nova Stromberg finished second in 3:44.27.

In the women’s shot put:
• Aleah Weight placed second (33–10).
• Sadie Hoffman placed third (25–7.5).
