In an era of hyper-partisanship, Democrats and Republicans in North Carolina have found something to work on together: democracy.
This 90-minute town hall features cybersecurity experts, election officials, and election law attorneys from both sides of the aisle. They address public concerns and audience questions about electronic voting machines and hacking, explain the secure process for collecting and counting votes, and advise on how challenges, recounts, and fraud allegations are dealt with through proper legal channels.
The League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham and Chatham Counties is proud to co-sponsor the final, fifteenth stop of this town hall series which will take place in Hillsborough on Thursday October 6, from 6:30-8pm at The Cloth Mill at Eno River: 437 Dimmocks Mill Rd #3, Hillsborough, NC 27278. Register here for the October 6 town hall.
