Guitar & Vox Rocks Songwriting Camp with James Easteppe & Mary DeFir

In this half-day camp, students will explore the instruments of guitar and voice using music fundamentals, building skills toward writing their own song. Following simple sheet music and chord diagrams, this camp will culminate in a group performance at the end of the week. Creative extension into different mediums such as painting, collage, and other crafts will help students relate to their musical journeys. No experience necessary. Students should bring their own instrument to camp. A limited number of instruments are available for those without access to one, and will be assigned on a first come-first reserved basis. All other supplies provided.
