Chapel Hill NOW, Durham, NOW and Pro-Choice NC invite all who work toward a more just society to rally on Saturday, June 11 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Peace and Justice Plaza, 179 East Franklin St., Chapel Hill.
With the threat to our rights growing each day, we are angry and frustrated. Find opportunities to channel those feelings into positive actions. Participating organizations will be there not just to talk at you, but to talk WITH you at tables around the Plaza.
In addition to the hosting organizations, participating groups include: ERA Alliance, Climate Action, and Carolina Abortion Fund.
We will be collecting diapers and menstrual products for Compass Center and NC Diaper Bank.
Wear orange for gun safety.
We hope that this will be a time and place to charge participants with renewed purpose and energy.
