Join the Carrboro Farmers’ Market in celebrating National Farmers Market Week on August 6th through 12th!
On Wednesday, August 9th, shoppers can enjoy a “Mini-Museum” of CFM history in the gazebo, with banners highlighting the market’s history and timeline. Kids and families can enjoy farmers market trivia, a craft activity, lawn games, and more through our free Market Bunch kids program.
On Saturday, August 12th, the CFM will round out its celebration of Farmers Market Week with a “Mini-Museum” of Carrboro Farmers’ Market history in the gazebo, with banners highlighting the market’s development and timeline from its founding in 1979. Answer raffle questions and be entered into a drawing to win a market basket full of goodies from CFM vendors. Shoppers can also enjoy samples of in-season market products, including fruit grown by CFM farmers and a recipe featuring seasonal products.
The CFM’s Farmers Market Week celebrations are sponsored by the Southern Environmental Law Center and Laser Image Printing & Marketing.
The CFM is open Saturdays year-round (7am-12pm April-October and 9am-12pm November-March) and Wednesdays seasonally (3-6pm April-November) at Carrboro Town Commons.
