“Ona” – Staged Reading from OdysseyStage

“Ona”, by Keith Burridge, is the story of Ona Judge, who was born enslaved to George and Martha Washington.  The play depicts Judge’s decision to escape and how she succeeds. “Ona” is the first presentation of Staged: New Play Readings, a monthly Sunday afternoon series from OdysseyStage to nurture the best of NC playwrights. Audiences are invited to offer feedback in a conversation after the performance.
