Project Graduation is a COVID-safe, late-night, drug and alcohol-free celebration (think food, music, dancing, photos, inflatables, hypnotist, casino, scholarships, prizes, and more). Project Graduation is for ALL graduating seniors in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro City School district. ALL Chapel Hill and Carrboro community members are asked to support this 30 year tradition. This year’s event is IN PERSON at UNC-Chapel Hill’s student union (a.k.a. Carolina Union). The celebration begins at 11pm on June 11 and ends at 4am on June 12, 2022. Project Graduation is important because it provides a safe, fun, equitable way for all graduating seniors to celebrate. Our community has recorded zero fatalities on graduation night since Project Graduation began in 1992.
