Strawberry Jamboree at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market

Join the Carrboro Farmers’ Market (CFM) for Strawberry Jamboree on Wednesday, May 18th! We are celebrating strawberry season with this family-friendly event. Come by from 3-6pm to pick up strawberry recipes, get info about local you-pick strawberry farms, and enjoy cake and whipped cream from Chef Sera Cuni of the Root Cellar. We’ll also have live music, facepainting, and lawn games.

And don’t forget to pick up a few pints of strawberries! Visit our many strawberry vendors and stock up your freezer and pantry. Sweet Charlie and Chandler are two particularly sweet and popular strawberry varieties grown by many CFM strawberry vendors.

The CFM is open Saturdays year-round (7am-12pm April-October and 9am-12pm November-March) and Wednesdays seasonally (3-6pm April-November) at Carrboro Town Commons.
