Dear TLR Readers:

This week, we thought we would bring a bit of winter’s chill into our sultry, humid, and soaking summer by dedicating this issue to the Christmas season in July. Enjoy a few reminders of sugar and spice and a bit of what we could use more of now — the spirit of kindness and the charity that Santa Claus represents as we endeavor to help our friends and neighbors who are affected by Tropical Storm Chantal.

As a tribute to the holidays, we are giving our staff a one-week break. We will post again on August 7, and our current issue will remain posted for next week.
