National Night Out

Families and children enjoyed mingling with town officials, police officers, and community partners at Chapel Hill’s “National Night Out” on the evening of Tuesday, August 4, staged by the “Guardians on the Hill.” The annual Chapel Hill Police event, held at Chapel Hill’s Hargraves Community Center, kicks off the back-to-school season with food, fun, games, and valuable safety information for children of all ages. “National Night Out” strengthens relationships between the community and law enforcement, promotes connections between neighbors and officers, and helps to build trust and maintain a true sense of community.
