CHAPEL HILLSnooze will reopen its Chapel Hill location (1800 E Franklin St., Ste. 003) on Sunday, March 1. Located in the Eastgate Shopping Center, Snooze has been closed since the building suffered extensive water damage from summer flooding in July.

Originally opened in November 2023, Snooze Chapel Hill reopens with a few new menu items as well as a refreshed vibe, all fueled by Snooze’s commitment to real food and radical hospitality.

“We’re proud to reopen in Chapel Hill,” says Snooze CEO Josh Kern. “In a community known for its spirit and high standards, we’ve taken this time to refine what we do best: bold brunch, thoughtful hospitality and food that truly earns its place. We’re excited to welcome everyone back and be part of the energy here once again.”

While the menu still offers Snooze bangers such as the signature Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes and Juan’s Breakfast Tacos, guests will find a few newer additions as well:

  • New Biscuits & Gravy: Toasted biscuit smothered in house-made rosemary sausage gravy, served with two sunny-side up cage-free eggs.
  • Grilled Three-Cheese & Fire-Roasted Tomato Soup: Cheddar, Jack and Swiss on rustic white bread, served with a pickle.
  • Protein BLT Bowl: Two cage-frees scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage crumble, seared tomato, avocado, pickled red onions and Dijon vinaigrette dressed baby spinach and carrots.

Prior to its grand opening, the restaurant will host an RSVP-only community soft opening day on March 28, partnering with and raising funds for The Porch, a non-profit fighting food insecurity, one porch at a time.

Snooze Chapel Hill is located in the heart of Eastgate Crossing and offers a vibrant, upbeat atmosphere. The restaurant seats 135 in its airy 4,567-square-foot dining area and offers an outdoor patio with an additional 64 seats, making it the perfect spot to hang out on nice days.

Snooze will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekends. Snooze is available for dine-in, carry out, delivery and catering orders. Diners can download the Snooze app to reserve a spot on the waitlist, order takeout and delivery or sign up for MySnooze Bennyfits loyalty program.
