A tree, weakened by heavy infestation of invasive wisteria, fell on power lines during the storm early this week. The tree blocked traffic on Glendale Drive near Franklin St. for most of Monday and Tuesday. It was on private property, so community volunteers could not remove the wisteria, clearly visible around the trunk and in the branches, during their work over the summer.
